My Wife Journal #19

Unshakable Faith

07/21/2026 @ 6:52pm

Last night I was in deep thought and went to look in my old journal and came across a few things. What stood out today to me was something that took place on October 16, 2024, that changed my entire life because this was the second time this took place within a 2-month span. So, when you understand the spiritual realm, you come to realize that when something is a repetitive cycle in your life than it needs to be broken in the spiritual realm, so it can then break in the physical. And one of those cycles I was dealing with was always receiving late notices, vacate to move notices, and around this time eviction notices. This was going on in my life since the day I got my first place at 20 years old. And in the beginning, I was always on time with my rent payments, but I had rental assistance as a young mother and there was always something that was affecting my rental assistance from being paid on time monthly. In which, I would receive late notice payments. And throughout my adult life, this became a cycle of either not having all of the money to pay, and etc. Now there were times, I would even have to ask for help mainly family and rarely the father of my kids, in which I paid him back every penny except for one time which was in 2024 set aside from receiving child support. In case you're wondering, that is just how it was. I did not officially put the father of my kids on child support until my youngest was about 13 years of age, because he was active in their lives. What led me to do this, was the lies being told, and when I was in the last relationship I had ever been in, he would take me on lavish trips. I'm not sure if there was some jealousy behind that, but when I made arrangements for our boys to get picked up because I was on this trip and called to confirm these things and hung up in my face, he ended up dropping our kids at my home the night before. And from there I was just done, because it was other things that compounded my decision to do this. So, instead of me having to ask for help from my kids' father, I decided to just go forward with child support. Even this was an uphill battle that turned into a custody battle over the fact that my oldest had got a concussion while with me during basketball, and intel I had to go and pull past records that indicated a past conviction that involved our youngest while dropping him on the ground while he was in his car seat. All in all, this of course became a source of help through these trying times except for this particular time frame in 2024.

Around April 2024, I had finally made it up in my heart with the Lord and having an undeniable peace, that I was going to walk away from my job where I was cleaning buildings at night that helped pay the bills, because I had 5 contracts when I started in November 2023, and lost two contracts from where they said because of cleaning concerns, and was about to lose a third one for the same reason, and me being the person I am, I made peace with the Lord about this, because this was my older brothers company that he rightfully gained these contracts and as someone who knows how to clean properly, I could sense that something was off. Primarily, because the people that worked at these locations did not know anyone from each building I cleaned. And I was starting to notice the people that worked at these buildings were leaving expensive personal items out in the open that randomly started to happen all around the same exact time at each location. One location around December of 2023, left their personal credit card out in the open in their desk drawer with the credit information showing and tilted it a certain way to where you just could not miss it. And of course I had to clean that area. Another location left a live check just sitting out on the desk not sure how much it was but just things like this was happening. So, I decided to let my brother know that I was putting in a two-week notice and leaving the company and from there it became a battle with keeping up with bills.

I started back doing my uber eats to maintain small bills and even started helping my oldest son at night with courier runs where he works for his dad. And even when doing these runs, I would notice how as soon as I would turn into my apartment after finishing these runs, I mean as soon as I would turn in, my son would Zelle me my little $50.00. Eventually, this ended as well so I was back in a real faith journey where I was just receiving child support monthly, doing uber eats and braiding hair. Braiding hair only really happened coincidentally or was it coincidental, when I was down to my last and needed to pay like my electric bill the next day. And the group of people whose hair I would still braid would call me and ask to braid their hair.

Child support was not enough to sustain my bills, and one day the Lord told me to post on my Facebook page as to some of the things I was experiencing because the Lord was showing me that I had a Judas in my life. Meaning someone who accepted money in return of my downfall. And I said some specific things in this video and what I was able to see in the spirit is that an acquaintance from my past who is a barber went back and mentioned this to the kids' father, and he ended up coming to our youngest son game and came and sat by me and asked if I was about to get evicted. I then in turn told him the amount is two months past due, and they are about to start the process. By the time he left after hinting to carnal things in place of him fronting me this money, he was saying that he would send child support. I asked for both months which would have been roughly around 3,000. This interaction took place around May 24, 2024, by June 11, 2024, he had sent the child support and with child support I would have to wait 7 days to receive in my account, which was on June 19,2024 not including weekends which, come to find out when paying the rent they were about to file eviction on June 11th, and on top of that he ends of sending me the same exact amount I was getting paid monthly by my brother when I was working for him and that was $2200.00. I wasn't surprised because I was starting to connect the dots. But needless to say, this was the last child support payment I would receive until 01/25/2025, even after saying on July 14th he would send child support because of some upcoming expenses. Now this wasn't typical behavior, because he would always pay a little extra monthly, but being that the agreement was that I would have to Zelle him back initially 1,000 out of the $2200.00 and then when the money hit, I asked to keep it to pay up all my bills, he said we agreed to $1200.00 and without a fight I sent the $1200.00, not realizing that this was soon going to be a true faith journey.

During this time, I needed the money sooner and since it was going to take a while for me to receive the child support, the father of my kids got a cashier's check of roughly about $3200 to pay off the full balance I owed and turned it into my leasing office, and so that is the reason for sending the $1200.00 Zelle to him. But before that even happened, and letting him know that I needed to pay this by June 11, he took hours to respond back and while the silence was going on, I was in praise and worship, and was like saying well Lord I didn't do anything with this man just to get my rent paid, I stayed faithful before you Lord, I just know you will come through, and soon after that he text saying he would get this cashier's check and take it to my leasing office and when he did, I was told that they were about to go and file the eviction within the next 30 minutes if the balance had not been paid. So, in reality, he helped me out with about $4200.00, and I did not have to compromise. So, months went on and by July 2024, I had received rental assistance where I used the $1000.00, I had left from child support and with rental assistance helping me out for July rent in the amount of $800 I was able to pay my bills for the month of July. By the time August came around, I was back in the same predicament. By September an eviction notice was officially filed. This was the first time I had experienced this. I ended up going to court on September 25, 2024 and before I went I had barely any gas to make it there and asked the father of my kids the night before to help out and received a "lecture" that ended in a dead end. So, I asked my older brother for gas money and was able to make it to the courthouse and with no money in my account, no boxes packed because I had no peace to pack, I walked in that court room and stood before the judge and my case was dismissed because of how the office filed the eviction. And leading up to going to court I was really in a kind of peaceful distress if that helps describe it, because I was faithful, but I was also learning how to trust the Lord based off of what I was sensing in the spirit. I had no idea that the case would be dismissed. But the hand and act of God took place that day, and of course I had to wear my FAITH shirt because that is what I was standing on. And on September 29, 2024, out of the blue the kids father text me saying he apple paid me $300.00 and to use it on whatever I needed, which was a complete shock, because he had never done anything like that except for when our oldest graduated in 2022, and we were on good terms and I told him I needed a mental break from where we were living at because I could feel the tension in the home, and he sent me money to get me and our kids a hotel room for a couple nights. And sure enough, weeks after receiving the $300, I came into the knowledge that the $300 was supposed to have been used to pay toward my rent, which could have prolonged the next eviction process, because the leasing office accepted partial payments, but in turn I paid smaller bills, based off of past experiences where any place I have lived never accepted partial payments.

So, I ended up leaving out of the court room astonished, and back home I went. Well, from time to time, I would also braid hair as that was one of my trades and helped in my time of need to help make ends meet. And since I had experienced so much, with losing clients and people acting very weird toward me, I had gotten to a place where I only braided hair from people that I had known for either years or had a good sense of who they were. Why I'm saying this is because within weeks another constable had showed up to my door to deliver the second eviction notice, while I was braiding hair at home, in which court was scheduled for October 16, 2024. Now leading up to this court date, I felt a little bit more at ease, still slim to any money in my pocket, and that day I spent quality time with the Lord and left early enough to sit by the lake and even thought about seeing how this could be dismissed without going to court, because I had received the eviction notice before I ever received the notice from the leasing office. Reason being, is because someone was taking it upon themselves to tamper with the mailboxes, and the residents would have to go to the post office to pick up mail. So, after I got the eviction notice the Holy Spirit had me to go pick up my mail and that is how I received the notice to vacate. And by law, the notice to vacate has to be sent properly in order for the eviction process to take effect and with me knowing this I tried to go to the clerk to explain what happened, she said I would have to tell the judge since it's the same day as court. So I had to relive the same experience with the same FAITH shirt on, same judge, but this time I had to speak because the leasing office had filed the paperwork right this time by sending the letter certified, but when I begin talking and telling the Judge when I received the notice, the judge started looking at the paperwork and dates and said I am going to have to dismiss this case again because you have to start the process all over again that takes 30 days to do, because the apartment complex was under the cares act where it gives residence more time to pay. And I bout ran out of that court room jaw dropped and all. Because in my head, I'm thinking like where are me and my youngest going to go now, I have exhausted all resources and places to go accept maybe one.

But looking back at this, and knowing what I know about the spirit realm, when a cycle is happening it has to break when you are doing the necessary work in prayer. And by going through this dismissal process in eviction court, this was happening in the spiritual to break this cycle that was hovering over my life for many years. Any many times, I had a good paying job to pay my bills, but for some reason or another I would always find myself not having enough for rent and receiving these notices to vacate. So, while this was breaking off in my life spiritually, I had to go through the process in the physical for this to break off of my life. And looking at the date October 16, 2024, was the first day of Feast of Tabernacles during this year. And anyone who studies the Bible and understands end time prophecy should understand that when the Feast of Tabernacles happens at the end of the Great Tribulation is when Christ will come back to avenge and defeat the false prophet. In my eyes, this moment was significant for me that eviction court took place on this same day, and it was dismissed for a second time, and the victory was won at the cross. It's a blessing to look back on the things God has really brought me through. Most times, I had to remain before the throne and not listen to what man would say about getting a job and all kinds of things. Because I knew to a certain extent of what the Lord was doing in me. But to explain it to the next person, especially to someone who doesn't walk with God would not understand the magnitude of what Faith looks like, let alone long suffering. Did I want to go through the pain of not knowing, and not having, absolutely not. But it taught me how to remain faithful without compromising my walk with the Lord in order to please the flesh. It taught me how to remain humble in Christ when others have something negative to say. I could have very well, went to go start another hair braiding business, or got a corporate job, but when God tells you otherwise you LISTEN and forget who is against what the Lord is doing in you. My faith is so strong in the Lord, just based around this eviction process, and I know I needed that because no job, business, or listening to what man had to say, would have built the faith that I needed to walk through the valley of the shadow of death in this time. I trust the Lord to the highest extent, and when you remain obedient to Him there is no reason not to trust him, because He orders our steps. Of course, after that process there was still a long road ahead when officially moving out of that apartment, but I knew wherever the Lord took me next, was an assignment and as long as we had a roof over our head and there was peace in my heart, then I was unshakable in my faith. It's moments like this, that is going to get the church through in the end times. We are going to be tried, tested in the hour ahead. And it's not for us to faint or grow weary, and with the last three years I took that time to understand this process. Because how can I be a wife and trust in you, if I don't know how to trust in my Father and remain faithful to Him? So, until we meet in the physical, I pray that your faith is unshakable for the road up ahead.

Your Wife
