Time

We live in a world where we base everything on time. Just think about it for a minute. Just like I gave you a minute to think about it; is using time. Time is of course what we live by as a means to determine a schedule, in our everyday lives. The moments that we use time in most areas of our life, is not something that we should take lightly. Most of us believe that we have time to spend with a loved one, or time to forgive, or time to hold a grudge. We believe we have time, to make things right in our carnal nature. We think we have time to get ourselves right before the coming of the Lord. We even think that time waits on us, because if we didn’t think like that, then why does the mass think that we have time to do things differently? When you know the word of God, you will understand that time waits on NO MAN! We are not promised tomorrow, nor the next minute of our lives. We aren’t even promised that our loved ones will be here the next day as well. So why do we take advantage of such a fragile subject? Why do we not give those who we love, their flowers while they’re still here? Why don’t we spend the quality time with those that we love? How is your life, that much busier than losing valuable time with those that would drop everything they’re doing to be in your presence? As most may know or realize, is that this world is not getting any better. It is actually getting worse by the day. The signs and wonders are in the air, in the media, in each other, and we think we have time most importantly to get right with God. Why is that? Why do we think we have time to change our lives for eternity? It is your life, I get it, I was once there in your same space. Where I thought I had time too, because I’m still living, I’m still breathing, and I still have my health. But not realizing that, at a mere vapor, my life could be taken away without notice, without warning, without any sign whatsoever. And that is where we fail miserably at, to think that we all will receive a sign of when it is our time to go into eternity. Just think about a loved one that “left too soon”. You thought you had time with them, you thought, they were going to be here for a long time, or at least not pass on when they did. My question is, if you have ever felt that way, then what makes you any different from them to think that you have time? It is not by coincidence that God gave us all a choice to walk in Him, or not. But with the choice that we make, we must understand that whatever choice we make in how we see time, will determine our outcome for eternity. See there is life or death after our flesh dies. We will either live in paradise, or constant death afterwards and torment in eternity. Is it possible that you take another minute to evaluate your life, and ask yourself this one question? Does my life reflect a life of paradise, or a life of hell? Does my timing, show me doing all that I can to make myself right within me that if I were to die right now, that I will go to live in eternal paradise? If you can't answer that question with not one doubt in your mind or heart, then you must evaluate your life from that very moment of doubt. We can't waste time on time that we are not promised to change when we don’t know when our last breath will be. We don’t have time to waste to think that we have time to hold a grudge, or hold hate in your heart, or even to be unforgiving. We don’t have time to waste, to think that our days in this world are not numbered. We all have a beginning and an end of our life. And we must take time as a gift to always walk in a mindset that we are all on borrowed time.

Scriptural Knowledge (KJV):
Life:

James 4:14 – Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

John 5:24 – Verily, Verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

John 5:28-29 – Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Colossians 3:23-25 – And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance; for ye serve the Lord Christ. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done; and there is no respect for persons.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 – To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and time to speak; A time to love, and time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 – He hath made everything beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

Romans 6:23 – For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Time

Matthew 24:36-44 - But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready; for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
