My Thoughts

I'm in a quiet moment right now, and I'm just in my thoughts about Moses our forefather and how he had to lead the children of Israel through some trying times. Like I have moments where I just think about how deep and hard that could have been. More so, because of the revelations that I receive from Christ; often when it comes to leadership. Like has anyone ever just thought about how hard it must have been for Moses to lead through the lens of Christ through the physicalities of a blind eye? I say that, because Moses only knew how to lead from how the Lord told him to lead the Children of Israel. Moses had to really keep his faith alive and stand on who the Lord is and what he says, against all the nay sayers who had a lot to say when things didn't look right in the physical. When their backs where up against the wall, and not knowing where food or anything was going to come from during this season of the wilderness. One man, counted on God to lead thousands of people that was not fixated on God but in their own ways, but yet still followed Moses because they had some kind of belief in who was telling him what to do. But just the thought of being in a place like this, could really be heart wrenching. Wanting to question the Lord, WHY ME?!!!! Like, what made you choose me out of all the people in the world that could have led your people and go through the things Moses went through. I'm sure he questioned those things and asked the Lord.
If you are a part of the Kingdom and carry a heavy mantle, then 9 out of 10 you ask certain questions. But I remember the Lord told Elisha to go eat and go to sleep when he told the Lord that he didn't want to live anymore. LOL!!! Just like a father, like it ain't that bad, you'll be alright just go eat and lay down and go to sleep and try again tomorrow. LOL!!! And of course, you listen because you don't want to upset your father or go against the grain, so you just do what he says do, RIGHT?!
See this walk, I am finding daily that it is not built for the weak at heart. And although we are broken people, the Lord sure knows how to make us into some authoritative bold individuals who at the drop of a dime will break down in tears, when it gets tough in that quiet time with the Lord. Some of our greatest moments of overcoming the hardest times, is actually walking through the valley. Where we feel the pain of suffering and feel the attacks trying to come on, but yet and still we fight through and succeed and watch how we just continue to thrive in the abundance of the Lord's grace while he handles the obstacles.
I can say Moses had quite a few obstacles, and I'm sure he cried, and broke down in pain to the Lord. But one thing about God who is never changing, is that he will console us even when things seem far from obtainable and allow us to let it all out and tell us to rest a little and get back to it. You know why? Because he designed us exactly how He saw fit to accomplish his work in this world. And even I have to remind myself at times that, God sees all and knows all. He knows what brings us joy, pain, sorrow, suffering and he also knows how to lead and help us to stay the course. But as it is a daily fight against flesh, we have to strive in this walk to keep our head held high, and push for the greatness of who the Lord has called us to be, because on the other side of the obstacles is the promise land. And although Moses didn't get to make it to the promise land, he was definitely a big component to getting the children of Israel that much closer to the promise. And this is what we push for in the moment of adversity, heartache and pain we strive for greatness. We pray for protection and as the Lord orders our steps, He will bring us into the promise land eventually. So in this hour, believe through the hard times that God is with you. And sometimes letting it all out and pouring your heart out is what makes a difference in the next step you take as He will always love an obedient servant and keep us guided on the right path. And even for the ones that have leadership role close or like Moses, just remember the fight is not over until the fight is OVER!!!
